Alliance Transport Technologies Enhances Services With New Wakefield Base
Aftermarket solutions provider, Alliance Transport Technologies (ATT), has expanded by setting up new premises in Normanton, Wakefield, to enhance its complete, end-to-end aftermarket solutions for the bus, coach and commercial vehicle markets.
The new 1,400 sq. ft. unit will primarily be the base for ATT’s parts function. It will be home to a dedicated team of specialists, delivering a range of more than 1,100 new parts lines for buses and coaches. The site also houses the aftersales support function comprising of ATT Field Service, ATT Contractor Resourcing, ATT Emissions Control, ATT E-Mobility and ATT Fire Suppression.
The launch of the new site comes on the back of significant growth at ATT. Established in 1993 as Alliance Electronics, the business has expanded its services from quality remanufacturing of electronics, to offering a full range of aftermarket solutions. To better reflect its wider offering of functions, the company rebranded from Alliance Electronics, which it had been known as for more than 25 years, to become Alliance Transport Technologies.
The new site demonstrates Alliance Transport Technologies’ commitment to delivering all-round aftermarket solutions, providing a large selection of high-quality, cost-effective new vehicle parts, and a quality electronic remanufacturing service. The ATT team can remanufacture just about any electric or electronic part on a bus, coach or commercial vehicle, ensuring running costs are kept to a minimum. Alongside this, the aftermarket company can also offer superior, on-site support to operators thanks to its specialist field service managers and specialist recruitment function.
