The potential energy in a capacitor is stored in an electric field, whereas a battery stores it’s potential energy in a chemical form. A capacitor is able to discharge and charge faster than a battery because of this energy storage method.
Our ASC24 pack is designed for usage in large commercial operations. Our 24V pack is 60cm in height and approx. 15KG in weight. The ASC24 pack includes 3 safety features: a built-in safety fuse, an on/off switch and a reverse polarity alarm. With a peak amplitude of 18’000A, and a starting current of 4’400A, this pack is specifically designed for use with larger vehicles such as HGV trucks, buses, coaches and plant machinery.
The ASC24 pack also features a fully automatic charger, large industrial pure brass clamps and a built-in extension socket.
