About Us
Remanufactured Parts Ltd specialises in the repair and remanufacturing of electronic components used in trucks, buses, plant equipment and specialist vehicles. Our focus is simple.
We help fleet operators get vehicles back on the road faster by repairing electronic components rather than replacing them. By restoring parts such as ECUs, wiring looms, instrument clusters, transmission electronics and control modules, we reduce vehicle downtime while significantly lowering the cost of replacement parts.
Remanufacturing also plays an important role in supporting the circular economy. Repairing and restoring components keeps valuable materials in use for longer and reduces unnecessary waste from the commercial vehicle sector.
Since launching in 2023, the business has continued to grow steadily. We recently moved into slightly larger workshop premises to support increasing demand and to give the team more space for testing, diagnostics and repair work. We remain a small specialist team, but one that is continuing to grow as more fleets choose remanufacturing as a practical alternative to replacement.
What we do
Modern commercial vehicles rely heavily on electronic systems. When faults occur, replacing the entire component is often expensive and can involve long lead times.
Our workshop focuses on component-level repair and remanufacturing, helping customers restore critical vehicle electronics quickly and cost-effectively.
Key repair areas include:
- ECU Repairs
- Instrument cluster repair and dashboard electronics
- Wiring looms and harness repairs
- Transmission / gear selector units and electronics
- Control modules used in specialist vehicles and equipment
All repairs are carried out on removed components. Customers send the faulty unit to our workshop, where it is diagnosed, repaired and tested before being returned ready for refitting.
This approach allows fleet operators to keep vehicles moving without needing to replace expensive electronic parts.
Meet the Team
Our Core Remanufacturing Services
Over the past few years we have developed specialist expertise across several key areas of commercial vehicle electronics repair. Our workshop regularly supports fleet operators, transport companies and specialist vehicle operators with the repair and remanufacturing of electronic components including:
- ECU repair for trucks and buses
- Instrument cluster repair and dashboard electronics
- Wiring loom and harness repairs
- Transmission selector and control unit repairs
- Specialist control modules used in plant and lifting equipment
By focusing on component-level diagnostics and repair, we are able to restore many electronic parts that would otherwise be replaced. This approach helps reduce vehicle downtime, significantly lowers replacement costs for fleet operators and supports a more sustainable approach to maintaining commercial vehicles.

Our Ethos
Our ethos is built around three key principles: our people, our customers and our environment.
Our People
We believe skilled engineering knowledge is at the heart of successful remanufacturing. Our team brings together decades of experience in vehicle electronics, diagnostics and repair. Even as the business grows, maintaining a collaborative and practical working environment remains a priority.
Our Customers
Fleet operators rely on vehicles being available and operational. Our work focuses on reducing downtime by providing reliable repairs that return electronic components to service quickly. Remanufacturing often provides a cost-effective alternative to replacement parts, helping customers manage maintenance budgets without compromising reliability.
Our Environment
Remanufacturing is a practical way to reduce waste and extend the life of existing components. By repairing rather than replacing vehicle electronics, we help reduce the environmental impact associated with manufacturing new parts while supporting our customers’ own sustainability and CSR commitments.
Our goal is simple: keep vehicles working while reducing unnecessary waste.
Our Workshop
Our workshop is equipped with specialist testing and diagnostic equipment used to identify faults at component level.
As the business has grown, we recently moved into slightly larger premises to support expanding repair capacity and create a more efficient working environment for the team. This move allows us to continue developing our remanufacturing capability while maintaining the quality and attention to detail our customers expect.
Leadership
Remanufactured Parts Ltd is led by Managing Director Jon Ellard.
Since launching the business in 2023, Jon has focused on building a specialist remanufacturing workshop that supports the truck, bus and specialist vehicle sectors. As part of this work, the company has recently secured a £210,000 Innovate UK research and development grant, helping to support ongoing innovation and development within the remanufacturing operation.
Our Background
Remanufactured Parts Ltd was established in 2023 following the closure of Alliance Transport Technologies Ltd.
Our aim was to ensure that the specialist engineering knowledge developed in the commercial vehicle remanufacturing sector was not lost. Several highly experienced engineers joined the new business, bringing with them decades of expertise in vehicle electronics repair and diagnostics.
The result is a focused remanufacturing workshop dedicated to supporting the truck, bus and specialist vehicle sectors.
Early Support
In the early stages of the business, two established companies provided support in helping the new venture get started.
Urban Element Design Solutions Ltd, a digital marketing agency specialising in the manufacturing and engineering sector, supported the development of the company’s digital presence.
Adept Graphics Ltd, a fleet graphics and vehicle livery company with a strong focus on circular recycling within the graphics industry, also played a role in supporting the business during its launch phase.
While the company has now developed its own identity and direction, that early support helped ensure that specialist remanufacturing expertise remained available to the commercial vehicle sector.
